Description
The Steca Solarix is the world's most widely used charge controller in systems of between 8 and 30 A (up to 900 Wp).
Thanks to its well-known Steca-AtonIC state of charge determination, the controller ensures optimal battery protection using a piece of programmed software. The software includes an auto-adaptive algorithm which displays the state of charge of the battery and adjusts to the capacity and age of the battery. The charge controller brings together the advantages of a shunt controller and those of a serial controller through a switching concept developed by KATEK Memmingen, the so-called hybrid actuator. This has increased the device safety through a combination of electronic and electromechanical protective devices.
