Steca GmbH (today KATEK Memmingen GmbH) founded by Mr Steinle and Mr Casper
Development, production and assembly of battery charging systems

1980
Company taken over by Dietmar Voigtsberger
Expansion of production facilities into a professional electronics supplier

1990
Establishment of the cable technology and solar electronics product areas
Gradual expansion into a full-service electronics provider

2000
Expansion of floor area to 10,000 m²
Introduction of integrated information systems

2006
Establishment of the subsidiary company Steca Bulgaria EOOD (today KATEK electronic Bulgaria EOOD) with 20 employees and a floor area of 5,000 m²

2012
New building with 7,000 m² floor area
The Steca production facilities cover a surface area of 29,000 m² on which products are manufactured and services provided that are compatible with an ecological future.

2014
Corporate succession finalised by Dr.-Ing. Gerald Katzler, Peter Voigtsberger and Michael Voigtsberger

2018
Integration into the PRIMEPULSE Group for further growth and internationalization with Klauspeter Bader as managing director

2019
Renaming to KATEK Memmingen GmbH and KATEK electronic Bulgaria EOOD

2020
Takeover of the SMT production of Huf in Düsseldorf. Establishment of KATEK Düsseldorf GmbH.
