Fresh water controller (cascading)

Description

Steca TF A603 MCK+ and Steca TF A603 KS+ are cascadable fresh water controllers for heating domestic hot water directly and hygienically using the instantaneous water heater principle. The Steca TF A603 MCK+ (master) can be connected with up to three Steca TF A603 KS+ (slave) to form a four-unit freshwater cascade.

Cascading fresh water stations is a good way to use existing standardised and therefore cost-effective fresh water stations from the single-family and two-family residential sector for larger tapping capacities in multi-family and multi-storey residential construction.

This means that even in larger properties, small tapping quantities can be achieved with very good heat transfer behaviour, as not all stations always have to be operated simultaneously. The reliability of the hot water supply is also increased, as several stations are always available due to cascading.

Thanks to a new control algorithm, the Steca TF A603 MCK+ and Steca TF A603 KS+ controllers are able to transfer the energy of a buffer storage tank to the domestic hot water circuit especially quickly and efficiently. Already after the first commissioning, the self-learning control algorithm of the controller synchronises itself with the individual conditions of the respective system, ensuring a constant domestic hot water temperature from a hygienic perspective.

This is done primarily with the aim of achieving the lowest possible return temperature to the buffer tank in order to further increase the efficiency and yield of a solar system. This is supported by the function of a zone feeding of the buffer storage water using a 3-way switching valve.

The Steca TF A603 MCK+ also offers the option of controlling a circulation pump depending on time, temperature or pulse.

Note: Steca TF A603 MCK+ and Steca TF A603 KS+ are only available in conjunction with a fresh water station approved by KATEK.
