Function put to the test
Intensive type testing, fatigue testing and field tests play an essential part in the development of component groups and devices. These are already integrated into an optimal trial concept for your component groups in the offer phase. The basis is provided by a design verification plan (DVP) which is drawn up individually along with the specification document and standard requirements.
Confirmation is given in the DVP of all the properties set down in the specification in terms of deadlines, budget and technology, and the result is recorded.
When considering the deadlines and the budget, the development results and the project status are regularly checked against the calculation.
The technical part of the DVP includes software and hardware tests of the device functions, measurements to show that the correct components have been chosen, inspection of the mechanical, climatic and electrical environmental conditions such as EMC, climate and vibrations. Additional tests are drawn up which go beyond the required specifications in order to assure functional and operational reliability.
By using a combination of its own internal testing laboratory and external partners, Steca also offers you the greatest possible degree of flexibility and safety in this area.
